South Bank strolling

This Saturday I spent a beautiful day strolling along the South Bank in London. The sun was shining, it was pushing 20 degrees and I was off to see the Poppies at the Tower of London, the memorial dedicated to all the British people who have died during service.

As it was so warm, I just couldn’t resist a cheeky Snog – a frozen yoghurt treat which really hit the spot!

Words cannot describe this memorial. The sheer scale alone just leaves you speechless. It’s a truly beautiful display that makes you stop and think about all the braves soles who gave up their lives so that we may live in the world we do today, and I urge everyone who has the chance to go and see it before its gone.

The poppies were not the end of line though. The walk continued through the eerily quiet city of London and on to Shorditch, easily the coolest part of London! Here we had lunch at DF/Mexico, the latest creation of the amazing Wahacca restaurants.

All dressed up for Halloween, to drink we had frozen margaritas and bottomless hibiscus water and to eat, the mouth-wateringly delicious  Steak DIY Mexican Board – basically a build your own taco platter. And it was AMAZING! I cannot wait to go back for me.

I hope you all had an amazing weekend too!
