City break – Barcelona!

Barcelona – a city of sun, amazing food and spectacular sites.

Last weekend we had a family city break to this beautiful city and had an amazing time soaking up some much needed sunshine and eating ALL THE FOOD!

We went to Le Sagrada Familia designed by Gaudi and saw some of the buildings he designed round the city and his uber luxurious Parc Guell. We hit up the world famous Mercat de la Boqueria and wondered through the historical Gothic Quarter, visited countless tapas bars, had Mexican in Rosa del Raval, Vietnamese food in Bun Bo and of course, plenty of cocktails! The highlight though had to be visiting Tibidabo amusement park, located on the Tibidabo mountain which you travelled to via tram and funicular. Some of the rides like the ferris wheel and merry-go-round date back to its opening in 1889, and of course, the views of the city were second to none!

Check out some of the pictures I took! Has anybody else visited this beautiful city? I’d love to hear what you loved the most!
